Sardar Tehseen Scandal: Iram Chaudhary Breaks Silence After Kareena Jaan Attack
26 October 2025 — Pakistani stage actress Iram Chaudhary spoke out about alleged abuse, humiliation, and emotional torture at the hands of a man she identified as Sardar Tehseen.
In 2024, Sardar Tehseen had also attacked stage actress Kareena Jaan (Ayesha Sadaf) in Moti Mahal Theater in Rawalpindi, during a performance.1
In a video statement in 2024, Iram Chaudhary had dismissed the incident, saying there was no attack on Kareena Jaan2.
Iram Chaudhary’s Emotional Confession
The actress, known for her stage performances in Lahore’s theatre circuit, revealed how years of emotional and physical abuse have left her broken and isolated. “I can’t listen to insults about my mother or sisters. I can’t hear curses about my children. I don’t have that strength left,” she said.
Her voice, hoarse from crying, reflected both anger and despair. “I’m not asking the government to do anything special for me — I only want justice.”
In the statement, Iram admitted that she made a “big mistake” by entering a relationship with a man she trusted deeply. “I entered into a relationship with a man, and that mistake cost me dearly. I gave up my work for him. I became strange; I don’t feel like working or going home. I am away from my parents and my children.”
She described serving this person with complete devotion — “like a servant, like a mother, like a caretaker” — only to receive verbal abuse and humiliation in return.
“His language is so filthy that I can’t even describe it,” she said, directly addressing him:

“Tell me one thing, Sardar ji: what do you want from me? If I stay with you, I’m bad. If I work, I’m bad. If I’m here, you don’t feed me; you don’t clothe me. I don’t beg — Alhamdulillah I earn my own living — but in love, I ruined myself so badly that you now sit on my head like a burden.”
The actress went on to challenge the man’s morality and questioned his intentions.
“Have any decency left in you? You can marry me — make our relationship lawful with a nikah — do you have the courage? You cannot. You are not the kind of man who can give a woman respect.”
Iram claimed to possess proof of everything she endured. “I have evidence of all that you’ve done,” she warned, vowing to go public if the harassment continued. “If you insult me again, interfere in my work, or threaten my family, I will not stay quiet. I will do whatever I can.”
She also appealed directly to the Government of Pakistan, saying:
“This bullying must stop. These people hide behind their status and commit crimes in their homes. They make our lives miserable.”
“This Is Not Love — This Is Humiliation”
Iram described years of physical and emotional abuse:
- Violence: “I tolerated firing inside my home. You cut my hair. You beat me. You humiliated me every day.”
- Psychological torture: “I stayed silent thinking it was love — but this isn’t love. This is humiliation.”
The actress accused her abuser of deliberately isolating her from others, saying, “You want me to be disgraced in public, to have no one near me.”
Her statement struck a deep chord when she said:
“I don’t want your family to see this video. But those who parade you as a nobleman should see what kind of person you really are.”
“Leave Me Alone — Let Me Live in Peace”
In the most heartbreaking part of her message, Iram begged to be left alone.
“Leave me. I don’t want to live with you. I want peace. Let me stay with my family. Stop blaming me. I will show your actions to the media if you continue to harass me.”
She declared she no longer fears exposure or threats:
“Even if you try to shoot me, I will still come forward and tell the world the truth — about the frauds you commit, and what you did to me.”
The Broader Issue: Women’s Safety in Showbiz
The statement by Iram Chaudhary highlights a much larger problem — the systemic harassment, power imbalance, and exploitation faced by many women in Pakistan’s showbiz industry.
Despite being public figures, many artists fear speaking up due to backlash, victim-blaming, or damage to their careers. Iram’s courage to go public reflects the growing awareness among female performers that silence only enables abusers.
Her story echoes the struggles of countless women who continue to face threats, manipulation, and violence in both personal and professional spaces.
