Razi Khan, also known by his stage name Rizi Khan is a Pakistani actor and comedian, He was born in Lahore. From an early age, he showed a natural talent for acting and performance. During his primary school years, his teachers would organize annual dramas at the school Meena Bazaar. From Class 1 through Class 5, Razi Khan consistently won first prize for best performance. These experiences planted the seed of passion for acting in his heart.

Although his father, a teacher by profession, wanted him to pursue academics, Razi Khan had already made up his mind. Despite repeated encouragement from his father to study, Razi confessed that books did not interest him—acting did. Eventually, after completing his intermediate (F.A.) studies, his father allowed him to follow his dream. Unlike many artists who faced resistance from their families, Razi Khan received full support and prayers from his parents, which became the foundation of his career.

Career

Razi Khan’s professional career started at the iconic Bagh-e-Jinnah Open Air Theatre in Lahore—a platform where many of Pakistan’s greatest stage legends began. His first commercial play was Heer Ranjha in Trouble, written by Akbar Rai. The success of this play opened doors for him, and he soon began performing in theatres outside Lahore, eventually working across the country.
