Nasir Chinyoti is a Pakistani actor and comedian from Chiniot, Punjab, Pakistan. Nasir Chinyoti married Ainee and has 3 children with her: Marwa Nasir, Waqar Nasir, and Ali Uzair Nasir.[1]

Nasir Chinyoti’s father used to sell Naan chanay (a popular Pakistani breakfast dish).

Early Life

Nasir Chinyoti left school while he was in second or third grade. He began working as a carpenter’s helper in Chiniot, Punjab. Chiniot is well-known for its unique Chinioti furniture, cabinets, and doors.

After 3-4 years, he became a professional carpenter, earning between 30-35 rupees a day. After his sister and brother married, he informed his parents that he wanted to become an actor.

His aim was always to visit Lahore because carpenters were paid higher there, and Lahore was also home to the biggest theater at the time.

After moving to Lahore, Nasir Chinyoti worked during the day at a woodshop on Mast Iqbal Rd and at night as a struggling artist at Al Hamra for 8-9 years.

His age at the time ranged between 19 and 20 years. When he arrived in Lahore, his father had already died in Chiniot, Punjab.

Career

Nasir Chinyoti started his acting career in Faisalabad. His debut stage drama, “Kothi Car Tey Noukar,” took place at the Faisalabad Theater. [2] He wasn’t paid for this stage show; he was only given food. Actor and director Allauddin Butt, often known as Paapa Allauddin, gave him the first-stage drama.

Sakhawat Naz and Nasir Chinyoti became a popular partnership after his debut stage performance, and he performed on numerous occasions.
After earning 3 to 4 thousand a month, he left carpentry and began working full-time in theater.

When Amanullah Khan first arrived in Faisalabad, his first theatrical performance with Nasir Chinyoti was “Main Solah Baras Ki”, Amanullah Khan was delighted by Sakhawat Naz and Nasir Chinyoti, so he referred them to producer Sakhi Sarwar.[3]

Then Sakhi Sarwar cast Sakhawat Naz and Nasir Chinyoti in his theatrical show, “Sajan Mere.” It was Nasir Chinyot’s debut stage drama, with Sohail Ahmed, Mastana, and Abid Khan. Nasir Chinyoti was paid 5,000 rupees for the show.
