Ashraf Rahi was a Pakistani film, television, and stage actor and comedian born in Gujranwala, Punjab. He was born in Gujranwala, Punjab on December 25, 1955, and later moved to Lahore, Punjab, where he died on December 25, 2019 (aged 64).[1]
His father, Abdul Rasheed (also known as Sheeda Pehalwan), was a well-known Pehalwan in Gujranwala, Punjab.[2]
Career
Ashraf Rahi’s acting career began in 1972 at the theater.[3] Rahi appeared in several Pakistani Punjabi films, including Mehndi Waley Hath (2000), Pind Di Kudi (2005), and Lagdi Punjab Di (2021)[4], which came out after his death.

Ashraf Rahi Death
Ashraf Rahi died on December 25, 2019 from a heart attack. Funeral prayers for Ashraf Rahi were held on December 26, 2019, near his home in Lal Pul, Peer Bazaar, Mughalpura, Lahore. He is survived by a wife, three sons, and one daughter.[5]
