Stage Actor and Comedian Asif Iqbal Dies of Heart Attack
Pakistani stage drama actor and comedian Asif Iqbal has passed away after suffering a heart attack.
According to the available information, Asif Iqbal was rushed to a hospital after suffering a heart attack.[1] However, he could not survive and passed away around 3:00 pm on 19 September 2026.
Asif Iqbal was known among stage drama audiences for his distinctive comedy style and performance. He was associated with the Pakistani stage drama industry and entertained audiences with his unique approach to comedy.
Funeral Prayer
The funeral prayer (Namaz-e-Janaza) of Asif Iqbal was offered on 19 September 2026 after Isha prayers in Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore.[2]
The funeral was attended by family members, friends, fellow artists, and fans.
