Tariq Javed

Tariq Javed was a Pakistani actor, film producer, and director who predominantly worked in theater. Tariq Javed belonged to Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan.

Tariq Javed’s family was a businessman family; Faisalabad’s most famous pulao restaurant, Jahangir Murgh Palao, is owned by his family relatives. Tariq Javed married fellow actress Sheeba Butt, but they have no children.

Career

Tariq Javed began his career in the 1980s with the stage drama Tarian Da Lahu, directed by Ijaz Nasir. But Ghar Ghar Bashira, a stage drama, was what made him famous.

Tariq Javed trained numerous Pakistani stage performers, including Naseem Vicky, Tariq Teddy, Sardar Kamal, Qaiser Piya, and Tahir Noshad.

Apart from stage productions, Tariq Javed has appeared in several Pakistani films, including Ghunghat (1996), Nikah (1998), and Salakhain (2004). He also acted in the 2005 film Pind Di Kurhi, the first India-Pakistan Punjabi co-production. Tariq Javed also produced two films: Wardatein and Ghairat.

Tariq Javed Death

Tariq Javed died from a heart attack on January 15, 2006, while performing in a stage drama at the Crown Theatre. He was laid down to rest in the Bara Graveyard Ghulam Muhammad Abad.
