Ayub Akhtar, aka Babu Baral, was a Pakistani stage actor, comedian, director, and singer. Babu Baral was born in Ghakar Mandi, Wazirabad, Punjab, Pakistan, on January 1, 1960.
Chand Baral, a theater and television actor and comedian, is the nephew of Babu Baral (Bhanja). Babu Baral’s father was named Allah Rakha.
After Babu Baral died, his son Nabeel Baral suffered an electrical injury that caused him to lose his left arm.[1]
His family struggled financially, prompting his oldest stepdaughter, Tabeer, to pursue theater performances at the age of 17. However, after a few years, she quit the theater.[2]
Babu Baral’s daughter Maryam Akhtar married Saqi Khan, a stage performer and comedian, in March 2018.[3] But shortly, marital problems arose, and she divorced; she has one kid.[4]

Babu Baral’s first marriage was an arranged marriage. he had 1 son from it Haji Gulzar who has cerebral difficulties.[5]
Babu Baral second marriage
Babu Baral married Sobia Ayub who was divorced and already had two children Bakhtawar Akhtar alias Tabeer Baral and one son Nabeel Baral. After their marriage Babu Baral had 1 daughter with her named Maryam Akhtar.[6]
Career
Babu Baral began his theatrical career in Gujranwala in 1982 before moving to Lahore.
Over the next 28 years, Babu Baral appeared in over a thousand theater dramas. Shartiya Mithay and Bhukay Haatha Bataira were his most popular theater performances. He co-wrote and directed the Shartiya Mithay stage drama.
Death
Babu Baral died on April 16, 2011. Babu had been dealing with a variety of health difficulties, including cancer and kidney problems, for a long period before his death.[7]
