Amanat Chan is a Pakistani actor and comedian from Mughalpura, Lahore, Punjab. Amanat Chan’s real name is Amanat Ali. Amanat Chan has three brothers: Shoukat Hussain, Nazakat Hussain, and Imdad Ali. His older brother, Shoukat Hussain, has died.
Amanat Chan was born in 1960 (age 65) in Mughalpura, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Amanat Chan has two children. He studied until fifth grade.
Amanat Chan comes from a family of brass bands, which includes wedding bands. Nabi Baksh, his grandfather, founded the “Bao Band” in Amritsar, India. His paternal uncles Muhammad Deen (Taya) and Talib Hussain (Chacha), along with his father Allah Rakha, then changed the band’s name to “Nabi Baksh Band.”
When India was divided in 1947, Amanat Chan’s father and paternal uncles moved from Amritsar, India, to Lahore, Pakistan. Imdad Ali—Babu, his brother, is now the band’s leader and has given it the name “New Bao Band.”

Career
Amanat Chan began acting career in 1988, his first stage drama was “Heer Ranjha in Trouble,” in which he played the “Kaido” character. He was mentored by comedian Akbar Rahi. Aside from stage drama, Amanat Chan has appeared in Pakistani and Indian Punjabi films, as well as the Hasb e Haal Show, where he has played Ghauri and other characters.
