Muhammad Nawaz better known as Nawaz Anjum is a Pakistani stage actor, comedian and Radio jockey from Multan, Punjab. Later, he moved to Lahore, Punjab. He was born on May 1, 1963 (age 62) in Chak 4 Faiz Multan. His father had a shop in Multan.[1]
Nawaz Anjum got married to Rasheeda in 1984 and has two sons: Umar Nawaz and Ahmad Nawaz.[2]
His mother died in 1979, while his father died in 1982. Nawaz Anjum has two sisters and one brother; he is the eldest of his siblings.[3]
Career
Nawaz Anjum was a painter before he became an actor. In 1984, he began his acting career with the Multan Arts Council. Rangeela, an actor, introduced Nawaz Anjum to the Lahore theater in 1990. Mohsin Gillani, a Pakistani actor, introduced him to theater and mentored him.
Nawaz Anjum has also appeared in numerous Pakistani Punjabi and Saraiki films.[4] Since 2017, Nawaz Anjum has co-hosted the radio show Chatkharay with Sahar Naqvi on Suno FM 89.4.
