Muhammad Javed, aka Javed Kodu, was a Pakistani stage, television, and film actor and comedian from Singhpura, Lahore, Punjab. He was born on 7 January 1960.
He married in 1990 and has three children: two sons and one daughter. Salman Kodu is his youngest son.[1]
Javed suffered a heart attack in 2015, followed by a brain hemorrhage in 2016.[2]
Javed Kodu died on April 13, 2025, in Lahore, following a prolonged illness.[3]He was 65 years old at the time of death.
Career
Javed Kodu began his theatrical career in 1981 with the stage drama “Sauday Baaz”. Aside from theater, Javed has appeared in Pakistani Punjabi and Pashto films and television dramas.
