Career

Anwar Ali began his acting career in 1968 and has since been in numerous films, television series, and stage shows. Before becoming an actor, Anwar Ali worked for Radio Pakistan alongside Mohini Hameed, also known as Apa Shamim. Mohini Hameed was the first female broadcaster in Pakistan.

Family members confirmed that Anwar Ali had lung, renal, and cardiac problems. His condition deteriorated on Sunday, August 31, 2025, and he was admitted to a hospital, where he died on September 1, 2025.
