Lucky Dear was a Pakistani comedian and stage actor from Lahore, Punjab. “Lucky Dear” was his stage name, and his real name was Liaquat Ali. He was born in 1965 and died on September 30, 2025, at the age of 60, due to multiple organ failure.[1]
Lucky Dear marriages
Lucky Dear was married three times. After his first wife passed away, he married again and had three children with his second wife: a son and two daughters. His second wife died in 2009, and later, one of their daughters also passed away. In 2011, he married Sonia Khan, his third wife, and they have two children together.[2]
Career
Lucky Dear’s acting career began in 1993 with the Anjanay Log stage drama at Alhamra (Lahore Arts Council). He was well-known for his musical comedy and transsexual performances in stage shows.
