Asif Iqbal alias Asif Pheena is a Pakistani film and stage actor from Gujranwala, Pakistan. His father was a railway station master who died in 1988. His mother died in the year 2000. He has three sons: the eldest, Hamza Asif, the second, Yasir Asif, and the youngest, Abdullah Asif. He also has a granddaughter, Amal.
Career
Asif Iqbal was a member of the Wapda cricket team before joining the Tamaseel Theatre in Lahore in 1986 as a programme manager and assistant director. Because actors used to make more money than directors and programme managers, he wanted to be one.
He then left Tamaseel Theatre for Alflah Theatre, where he performed his debut stage drama in 1996. He is currently directing and producing stage dramas, along with acting.
