Asad Ghuman

Asad Riaz Ghuman, better known as Asad Ghuman, is a Pakistani director and actor. He was born in Sialkot, Pakistan, but now lives in Gujranwala, Pakistan.

Career

One day Asad Ghuman went to meet producer Hafiz Azeem and his friend Amjad Rana, who lived in his neighbourhood. He discovered that they were looking for someone to play Ranjha in their stage show Laila Meri Jaan. Then Hafiz Azeem, Amjad Rana, and Iftikhar Thakur insisted he take the role, but he refused because his family forbade him from doing theatre.

After obtaining approval from his family, Laila Meri Jaan became his debut stage drama. He continued to work in theatre until 2008. He left theatre due to hypocrite behavior by colleagues. Then he went to Italy, but worked as a Tour promoter for stage actors and actresses.
